Pointe-Marie is a new town located on River Road (across from the Mississippi river) in Baton Rouge, LA. Its 120 acres is home to three neighborhoods wrapped around three major squares and parks and lakes. Point-Marie square is wrapped by the mixed-use town center that displays 3-4 story architecture in the vernacular of the French Quarter in New Orleans. Cooper Johnson Smith Peterson Architects worked with the visioning, did the planning and wrote the urban code that shapes the town and its style. We are continuing in the role of Town Architect to approve each project and participate in adjusting the planning to changing needs.
